Extensive science, limited impact

Earth, Wind and Beer; it’s a mantra that means installing advanced equipment that reduces energy use, diverting waste streams - and becoming the first company in Utah powered entirely by renewable energy.

Earth, Wind and Beer underscores our commitment to doing better for our customers and our planet. Our love for the outdoors and our love of beer converge in this business. We are committed to always doing our part to make sure we can continue to enjoy both.

ABOUT UINTA

Our story

When Uinta was founded in 1993, the craft brewing scene in Salt Lake City had a long way to go. We started brewing out of an old mechanic shop and grew to the 5-acre campus you see today, without forgetting the Craft Beer roots that got us here.  Our love of Craft Beer and Utah’s wild places has propelled us through three decades— with many more o the horizon.

Wasatch Resource Recovery

Wasatch Resource Recovery is Utah’s first and only anaerobic digester dedicated to food waste diversion. The facility processes organic material, including food scraps, liquid and manufacturing food waste and turns it into biogas and bio-based fertilizer.

Perfecting the craft.

We are explorers by nature. The same rush that comes from dawn-patrol ski tours, scaling red-rock canyon walls and finding solitude under a blanket of billions of stars channels the tinkering and testing that goes into brewing innovative new beers and revisiting classic favorites.
