Pilsener style beer originated in the scenic city of Plzen (Pilsen), Czechoslovakia in the early 1800's. Pilseners are lager beers, meaning they are brewed with bottom fermenting lager yeast, and then aged (lagered) in cold conditioning tanks from 1 to 4 months.

Since their introduction, pilseners have become the most popular style of beer in the world. At Uinta, we have replicated a true old world pilsener by using the finest imported Saaz hops and then aging this golden lager for nearly a month. The aging process creates a smooth, mellow flavor that gives it a remarkable drinkability. Enjoy the delicate balance between the flowery hops and the assertive malt flavors.
